THE JOE PERRY PROJECT Performs At NFL Tailgate Game; Video Available
December 8, 2009American television and radio host Larry King introduced AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry's band, THE JOE PERRY PROJECT, when they played at the Land Shark Tailgate Stage on the AT&T Grand Plaza on Sunday, December 6, prior to the Dolphins-Patriots game. Perry and his band performed a series of songs from his fifth solo CD, "Have Guitar, Will Travel", released in October this year, that included the album's first single, "We've Got A Long Way To Go". In addition to experiencing Perry's trademark rock and roll-based ferocity, fans were treated to an exclusive rendition of AEROSMITH's unforgettable number one hit single "Walk This Way", featuring leading singer/rapper and producer T-PAIN, who made a special guest appearance with Perry live on stage.

"Have Guitar, Will Travel" will be released in Japan on December 23. The Japanese edition of the album will include two bonus tracks — "Dream On" (AEROSMITH) and "Revolution" (THE BEATLES). The hard-driving, ten-song, in your face, collection features Perry's trademark rock and blues ferocity. Recorded this past spring at the BoneYard, Perry's state-of-the-art home studio, where AEROSMITH's "Honkin' On Bobo" and "Just Push Play" were recorded, "Have Guitar, Will Travel" is entirely written and produced by Perry.
